In Hindi a scammer is ठग (ṭhag) or धोखेबाज़ (dhokhebāz). In casual speech फ्रॉड (frāḍ) is also used. ठग is a cheater who tricks people for money.

The usual way to say “I am hungry” is मुझे भूख लगी है (Mujhe bhookh lagi hai), literally “hunger has struck me”. Add बहुत (bahut) for “very”.

In Hindi “wolf” is भेड़िया (bheṛiyā). It is a masculine noun. The word is used for the wild animal and also in stories.
