The usual way to say bye in Mexico is adiós. For a casual goodbye Mexicans also say hasta luego or nos vemos.

Adiós works in every situation, and in Mexico it is also a polite word when you leave a shop. Nos vemos is friendly and means "we will see each other". Hasta luego fits when you will meet again soon.
Which one should you use?
Many Mexicans also say the English bye with friends, and it is understood across the country. Hasta mañana means "see you tomorrow".
When do people say it?
Mexican goodbyes can be long, with a kiss on the cheek among friends and a cuídate (take care) at the end.
