To thank a girl, say Gracias. It does not change for a woman or a man. Add muchas for "thanks a lot", or her name to make it personal. It is also called Muchas gracias and Mil gracias.

Te lo agradezco is a little more formal and heartfelt. With a formal you, say se lo agradezco.
How does it change in a sentence?
Nothing in gracias changes for gender. If you add a word about yourself, such as agradecida, it agrees with the speaker, so a woman says estoy agradecida and a man estoy agradecido.
