In Pakistan people say مبارک ہو (mubarak ho) for almost any good news, from a new job to a wedding. For a warmer wish, say بہت بہت مبارک ہو (bohat bohat mubarak ho). It is also called مبارکباد (mubarakbad).

مبارک (mubarak) means "blessed" and ہو (ho) means "be". Together they wish that the news be blessed. You can also add the occasion, as in شادی مبارک ہو (shaadi mubarak ho) for a wedding.
