In Hindi, हे भगवान (he bhagvān) is the usual way to say “oh my God”, literally “oh God”.

A lotus is a कमल (kamal). The Sanskrit-based literary word is पद्म (padma), which is also found in names and in the title पद्म श्री (Padma Shri).

In Hindi you say मेरा नाम राहुल है (merā nām rāhul hai), word for word “my name Rahul is”. Put your own name where राहुल (rāhul) stands.

The standard Hindi way to say thank you is धन्यवाद (dhanyavād).

The common Hindi word for ugly is बदसूरत (badsūrat), used for people. For objects or something clumsy, भद्दा (bhaddā) is often used.
