In Lebanese Arabic "today" is اليوم (el-yōm). It is the same word as in standard Arabic and is used in speech all the time.
اليوم goes at the start or end of a sentence: اليوم عندي شغل (el-yōm ʿindi shoghol), "I have work today".

How does it change in a sentence?
اليوم is يوم (yōm), "day", with the article ال. Tomorrow is بكرا (bukra) and yesterday is مبارح (mbāreḥ).
