Ha un bagno?
The English phrase "do you have a bathroom?" is translated into Italian as Ha un bagno?
This phrase is a polite way to ask whether a home or a business has a toilet available for your use.
Which one should you use?
While Ha un bagno? is the standard way to ask an individual, you should use Avete un bagno? if you are addressing a group of people, such as a staff at a restaurant. Additionally, in public places like cafes or restaurants, it is very common and natural to use the alternative phrase Dove sono i servizi? to ask "Where are the restrooms?"
How does it change in a sentence?
The distinction between forms depends on who you are addressing: the informal version uses the second-person singular Hai un bagno? instead of the formal Ha un bagno?, and the plural version uses Avete un bagno? when speaking to multiple people.

- The Italian word bagno is used not only for the room but also to describe a 'dip' or a 'swim'. If someone says faccio un bagno, they are likely jumping into a pool or the sea.
- In some contexts, the word bagno can refer to a 'bath' of liquid, such as a 'bagno maria', which is the Italian term for a 'bain-marie' used in cooking.
- In Italy, you will often see signs for WC instead of bagno. This is a loanword from the English 'water closet' and is the standard sign used in airports and train stations.
