The classic Venezuelan word for "cool" is chévere. It describes a plan, a person, a song or a situation you like. Genial is a more neutral alternative. It is also called Qué bueno.

Chévere is invariable, so it stays the same for masculine and feminine nouns: un carro chévere, una fiesta chévere. It also works alone as an answer meaning "great".
