About Sepedi

Sepedi, also called Northern Sotho or Sesotho sa Leboa, is the first language of about 4.6 million people in South Africa, most of them in Limpopo province. It is one of South Africa's official languages and is closely related to Sesotho and Tswana. Thobela is a respectful greeting, and ke a leboga means thank you.
