In Cuba a strawberry is a fresa, the same word used in most of Latin America. Its plural is fresas and it is feminine.
For ice cream or a drink the flavor is de fresa, as in helado de fresa or batido de fresa (milkshake).

Spain also says fresa but uses fresón for the larger kind. In Mexico fresa is also slang for a posh, snobby person, which is not a Cuban use.
