In Cajun French, as in standard French, you raise a glass and say Santé for "cheers". The longer À votre santé is a little more formal.

Santé literally means "health". It is said at the moment glasses meet, at dinners, dances and family gatherings.

Cajun French is the French spoken by the Cajun people of Louisiana, descendants of the Acadians. The toast itself is the same as in other French-speaking places.
