To tell someone to listen in Argentina you say escuchá or escuchame (listen to me). This is the vos command, not the escucha used with tú. It is also called oír.

How does it change in a sentence?
With vos the command drops the final -r of the infinitive and keeps the stress on the last syllable: escuchar becomes escuchá.
