Did you know?
- While todos los días means 'every day', using the similar phrase diariamente is far less common in spoken Spanish and can sound overly formal or bureaucratic to a native speaker.
- The word los in todos los días originates from the Latin 'illōs', which was the accusative plural masculine form of 'ille', meaning 'that one'.
- In certain Latin American dialects, if you are describing something that happens 'all the time' (habitually/constantly), speakers might use todos los días even if the action is not strictly tied to a 24-hour cycle.
