About Maasai

Maasai, called Maa by its speakers, is the language of the Maasai people of southern Kenya and northern Tanzania. It is closely related to Samburu, spoken in northern Kenya. Maa is tonal, and a change in tone can change both the meaning of a word and its role in the sentence.
